My little boy is all grown up and terrorizing his mommy one day at a time!! Here is Camden on his fourth birthday, with his new friend Johnny in the foreground. He received a "Big boy" bike, complete with a Lightning McQueen helmet and knee/elbow pads for his birthday, oh and some other stuff. We had a great party with the neighbor kids and Nate's family all came down from Findlay, so that was fun. We were going to have a pool party however with the heat index being 107 degrees and a heat advisory advising all children under four remain indoors, we opted to kick it in our air conditioned house. Oh, and my mom sent Camden money so we have now, finally, entered the Thomas the Train phase because he bought himself some "coo-coos" (That's choo choo for everyone else but Sammy) and a track.
Here is Camden smiling his infamous "I-look-like-I'm-in-great-pain-but-I'm-really-just-happy" smile. And to explain the cake, it has two dump trucks on it moving "boulders" made from a strip of the cake, which is covered with whip cream and oreo cookie dirt. I know it's nothing like the amazing cake's my good friend Emily makes, however I've come to realize that comparing myself to her creative and artistic talents will just never work so I am quite happy with mediocre, that way less is expected of me.
Aidan is such a ham!! This is on Nate's family's front porch after church last Sunday. I can't believe how big my boys are! We go to the doctor this morning so I'll keep you posted on how gargantuan my "little" boys turn out to be.
Camden has become very concerned with matching and wearing the right sport outfit to play the appropriate sport. It's quite funny to think of Camden thinking so seriously about fashion but I just go with it. He and his buddy Zac like to think they are amazing hoopsters, which actually, they are, however Camden still glows like a gloworm whenever he and Zac have their picture taken together.
Here is Aidan and daddy by the pool. Unlike his older brother Aidan has no trouble getting in the water, dunking his head and generally trying to drown himself in the pursuit of swimming.
So that's about it for now. I am still going crazy, failing to lose weight, and now have developed a daily headache...hmmm...you think they're all connected?! Other than that life is pretty good and I have to adorable little boys who I need to remind them more, and me, how special and wonderful they are. Nathan is doing great in his residency doing some pretty normal and some pretty disgusting things so he's happy. All in all we're great.

Hey! I like the cake! It's very cool and I'll bet it tasted very good too! Better than "Lightening" with his overly concentrated red-dye frosting patches!
sounds to me like you're preggo! ;)
Careful, Sheila! That's how rumors are started and I'd hate the public to be grossly misinformed.
You are pregnant then!!! Congrats. Now nate can have the girl he always wanted!!!!!!!!!
