So, the big milestone in our lives is that today Nathan found out that he was accepted into Ohio State's Orthodontic program, his first choice!! We are super excited and I am glad that this next move will only be an hour away instead of across the country! Nate's worked really hard for a long time, the application process is a nightmare, but we're so glad that we've been given this opportunity. Also, our friends, the Waltons, will be joining us there.
Now that the big announcement is out of the way, let me rewind a little and tell you about our Thanksgiving. We went up to Nate's parents house in Findlay, Ohio for almost a whole week and I loved every minute of it. They spoil us rotten because they watch our kids, for free!, and are great to hang out with. Marianne's big 5-0, that's 50 folks, birthday landed right on Thanksgiving this year so everyone pitched in to help make all the food and desserts. It was great! The day after Thanksgiving we went to see our best buds, the Brown family, who live in Ann Arbor, MI. It was a blast catching up with them and watching our kids play together.
Here are some pics of that day and though we are sad we won't be joining the Brown's at the Univ. of Michigan I'm glad that we're still close enough to visit.
