My mother is a sick woman

This link was given to me by mother, who has a wicked sense of humor. She suggested I make it for Nathan's birthday next year. I couldn't stop laughing and thought to myself, "There's no way that I can even attempt to take a bite because it looks too real and gross." Which is why I love it!!

I needed a good laugh today because I was having one of those morning where I regretted becoming a mother. I know, I know, it's not pc to say you don't like being a stay-at-home mom but honestly I just get overwhelmed sometimes. I know I get stressed out too easily but when I'm doing six loads of laundry, trying to vacuum a disgusting carpet, battling with my 17 month old to eat some, any kind of food, having a four year old stay home from school due to BM issues....I just wouldn't be receiving any mother of the year awards. My poor children. They're the ones I really feel sorry for. Patience is the key here...I just have to learn how to get some. If only it was sold in stores, that would make my life so much easier.

So, if you're having a stress-filled day like I am/was(Aidan taking a nice long nap has given me time to recuperate) Just go to the above link and laugh your arse off. It's a great idea if only I could stomach it.

Aww Lem! I feel your pain...or have felt your pain rather. Some people are specifically formualted for stay-at-home mom duties. Me? I'm not one of those. It's been really really really hard to work full-time and be a mom, but it's not as hard as staying at home, I'll tell you that now. My first and only panic attack about child #3 was the realization that I would not be working. I NEED something else, as much as I adore my children...I NEED something else for sanity. Luckily, I think my work is going to work with me come May. ( " Otherwise, except a slow decline to insanity.

That is a sweet cake! Can you imagine bringing that out to serve to people? Very creative.
