So, I sat down after a hectic day and thought I'd unwind by posting some new pics...I forgot, however, that we didn't take any pictures at Christmas time on our camera because Nate's dad was taking a ton of pics with his nice, fancy camera...so in conclusion, ...I don't have any Christmas pictures to share yet. I just got off the phone with my mother-in-law and requested that the pics be sent via email asap. I'm hoping to get them in the next day or two.
Until that much awaited time comes, here are some pictures of my boys that I thought were cute. Enjoy! My poor baby is going to have so many pictures of him with his eyes closed. Dang photophobia! It's just too bright for his gorgeous hazel eyes...did I mention "hazel?" Yup, that's right folks. Although both my boys are carbon copies of their father, at least one boy as my eyes! He was wanting to pose and be a big boy like his brother in the bottom picture. He's quite the copy cat and definately thinks he's four. Here, Aidan has discovered he can open the cupboards and was happily ignoring the rest of the world, and the camera flash, as he took inventory of his newly acquired play place. He just fits in there so well doesn't he?
Here, Camden is at a birthday party for his friend at Chuck E. Cheese and not only had frosting everyone, which stained his face, but was the last one at his table finishing off his pizza. I love childish innocence. If an adult was left alone at a table, or maybe it 's just me, I would feel alienated, left out and would definately pout. Not my sweet boy. He' s just chillin, taking it all in and taking his sweet time finishing his tasy bit o' heaven, aka sprite. (I don't know why it's doing a link thing, stupid blogger.)Here Camden is posing in a new Christmas outfit my mom sent him. We let him open presents before Christmas, we're bad parents I know, but he was so excited to get a package and still brags about his Batman clothes. ...
And here I must rant. I have noticed that ever since he got his school pictures taken, which you all will get by the way, he doesn't show any teeth when he smiles anymore. He always did, ALWAYS until that day. In his school picture he's not showing teeth and won't anymore. I know he always had a crazy, "cheese!" face but c'mon! That's what make a kid, well, a kid. I'm just wondering if they, the photographer, told him to smile that way because they thought it was better. If so, I have a few choice words I'd like to use on the people who made my child self conscious about himself. Any ideas? Suggestions? Good curses? Hexes? I'm open to anything.

maybe he just wasn't feeling "smiley" that day? love the pics, can't wait to see Christmas!
I totally TOTALLY thought the first picture was of Camden. Talk about a little Carbon copy! I wonder what my next son will look like...if he'll look like either brother or be a chubby red-head...?!?!?!
I'm glad you finally did a new post Em. What cute pictures. It looks like Camden is flashin' some gang signs in his big 4 yr. old picture.
It is funny about that smile thing because when I was 4 and was waiting to get my picture taken, I noticed some of the kids were smiling without their teeth. I thought I would be cool and try it and it turned out to be the funniest picture ever. I didn't really know how to smile w/out showing my teeth so I ended up just tucking my lips under/around my teeth, but still kept my mouth open. Anyway, maybe he just saw other kids doing it and thought it was cool - like I did. To this day, I have never had a picture taken without a teeth smile. Maybe it will come back to him.
