WE DID IT!!!! We put an offer on a house, they countered with their bottom line, we grudgingly accepted and now we are officially in contract. If all goes well, we'll have ownership on May 15th! We are so excited and so relieved this whole process is over with. The house is great with a full finished basement which doubles the square footage, which is a good think since it's a small ranch that is only 1200 sq. ft. w/o the basement. The best part is that the basement also has a fourth bedroom, and third full bath down there. Awesome for when the in-laws come and visit. It also has a fenced backyard, with an enclosed deck and swing set. The only painting we have to do is in one of the bedrooms because it's a dark, candy pink!
Now we're gonna have to go cheap on a washer/dryer, and lawnmower...does anyone have any suggestions? Insider secrets? I would appreciate it.

Woo hooo! Craig's List is a great place to look for a washer and dryer. Are you in Columbus? If so I'll ask my fam who live there what they suggest!
We are in Hilliard, which is just NW of Columbus and just runs into it. I did mention that Nathan will soon be joining the Buckeye fantatics in July, right? Let the craziness begin!

nate's ortho program is three more years. After that we plan on moving to the NW.
That is so exciting, Emily... congratulations!! I feel so old with friends buying houses and doing real grown up things. Wow. You're going to have to teach me a few things. Hope all is going well!
