ramblings

So, Aidan didn't take a nap this afternoon due to a bowel movement and I was bored so I put in Phantom of the Opera. Now, I already Kim's take on it and keep in mind that I've never seen it live, onstage, or whatever. I just absolutely love the music and story. Not that anyone really cares but one of my many things I want to do "someday" is to go see that. yeah, that would be nice. That and go to Hawaii. And I have to be there long enough to be able to just sleep for a day or two, whenever I want and then still be able to go see everything I want to see. But since that'll never happen as long as my husband decides he wants to be a student...which is turning into FOREVER I'll just have to dream.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers this, but Kami told told me once that every year for her birthday Tomo gets her a hotel room for the weekend, just her, and she just stays there by herself ordering room service, sleeping, reading, and watching movies. When I first heard this, being a naive young mother, I wasn't very impressed. I actually wanted to be with my hubby and kids on my birthday. Then came child #2 and I realized the wisdom in this
dear sister's request. Having my own life back, even for two days, where I can do whatever I want, sounds heavenly. Is that selfish?! Oh, who cares.

If anyone has any ideas of how to creatively hang a ton of picture frames that don't match but you can't buy new ones. I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm in a sort of artistic funk that's lasted for the past 26 years.

If you're reading this and wondering what's the point I must refer up to the title. Did I mention I want to go see Phantom?

Hang picture rail near the ceiling. Then use wire to hang frames from the picture rail. Get a few more frames so you fill the wall up down and right and left. It doesn't matter that they don't match...it'll look eclectic!
Phantom is good! I think you should make Nate comply with all of your wishes and demands immediately! You know my motto...what's another loan?????
