Aidanisms

So, Aidan has proven himself to be quite the talker and for posterity I thought I'd post some cute phrases I get to hear everyday.

In the morning when he's calling me to come and get him: " Mooommmmyyy, wher ah yu!, Cum ear."

While standing in front of me with his hands tucked under his chin and his fingers wriggling: "I'm gahnna getchu..." fits of giggles inevitably follow.

While standing up on a chair, or the table, he looks at me with a gleam in his eye: "Get doowwn? heeheehee, doowwn?" yeah, like he needs to ask!

His favorite book is the "A" book, which tells a story about some ants and everything else in the book begins with the letter A. So from this he's learned: Ahn(Ant), Bapul(Apple), Acoh(Acorn), Owihator(Alligator), Aiwhane(Airplane)...it's rather cute.

He also says: Bapa( Papa), Nenen(Camden), poopy, eeuuuwwww(I taught him that one), baby, bue(blue), dong(song), chaiw(chair), miuk(milk), whaadr(Water)...EEEEE(eat), earl(cereal), saahhee(sorry, he says this one a lot and surprisingly seems to know what it means)...and many others but I'm getting tired of trying to translate.

Anyway, my point is that he is very cute and adorable and gives lots of kisses and snuggles. I am totally in love with this little boy. He reminds me more and more of his older brother everyday...minus the total meltdowns when someone's not nice to him because he frankly doesn't care.
